Incredible modern printer

Earlier today, I stumbled upon an article in the next web showing the next generation of printer. It defies belief. Printers have been left behind in the technology race, but that’s all about to change. I’ll let the video speak for itself, but just wait for the part where it does the actual printing.

Web design: new IMDB design concept

Bored with the current IMDB design? Vladimir Kudinov isn’t just bored with it, he says that it’s suffering from data overload. It bothered him so much that he came up with a total redesign, completely restructuring the way that the user sees information. See the full link here.

It would be great to see this for real, wouldn't it?

A great design doesn’t just need a high impact look, it needs detail. And this is full of great detail, like the perfectly balanced splashes of green around a controlled monochromatic background, and the tidy yet obvious accordion-style drop down menus showing detailed information. Amazing stuff, and it would be a great day for design if IMDB took it on board.

Personally, I won’t be betting any money.
